Diamond tester " Diamond selector II "

Pocket size diamond tester.  It allows quick and accurate detection of real diamonds and moissanites. There is red LED light and sound indicators if the stone is genuine diamond or moissanite. If it is not, there will be no sound and the LED indicator will not go to the maximum.

This tool can NOT be used for identifying other gemstones and it does NOT measure hardness. It measures specific thermal conductivity and this 10-scale has nothing to do with hardness.  Same applies for any similar tool, even the more expensive proffesional ones - they all do this job. 

Warning: This tester gives the same reaction to diamonds and moissanites but it will not give indication to synthetic diamond! Moissanites are NOT synthetic diamonds, even as they are synthetic stones!
For detection of moissanites only you have to use the grey tester, which reacts only to moissanites.

Warning: Do not touch the tip while using the tester, it is hot!
