Natural Ammonite 11.8g 35mm

A rounded, symmetrical polished ammonite with a notably large, open umbilicus showing concentric cream-tan nacre bands and a hint of blue iridescence - the navel area is more prominently pale than most specimens in this series. Warm medium-brown shell with ammonitic suture lines in a coarser, more widely spaced pattern.

The large, pale umbilical centre with its layered nacre banding is the visual focus of this specimen. Natural ammonite fossil from China, polished at 35mm. Natural polished ammonite fossil, Jurassic period, collector specimen.
