A natural scapolite crystal in pale golden-yellow to smoky tones in daylight - semi-transparent, 24x14mm in size, with the prismatic crystal form intact. Under UV light it delivers a vivid display: purple at 365nm, intense pink-magenta at 310nm, and bright red at 255nm. Four UV images are included in the product photos. An individually sized specimen at 16.5ct.
Tanzanian fluorescent scapolite is among the most dramatic UV-reactive minerals available. This is a larger individual crystal than the smaller lot pieces, with a good size for display. Untreated, no heat or treatment. Ideal for a UV mineral collection or as an unusual display specimen that shows completely different character under artificial light.
