Natural Jasper 58.5ct Oval Cabochon

This oval shows a distinctly layered landscape composition. A broad sandy-cream base fills the lower two-thirds, crossed by a single bold dark olive-green band running diagonally from lower-right to upper-left. Above the band the stone transitions to a warm golden zone with fine flow markings, and at the very top a thin dark chocolate-brown line traces the edge. The diagonal band creates strong directional energy, making this one of the more dynamic stones in the group. The polish is satiny and uniform.

Yellow-olive jasper from India with distinct banding is sometimes grouped under "picture jasper" or "landscape jasper" terminology, reflecting the scenic quality of the patterning. Jasper is opaque microcrystalline quartz, hardness 7, untreated. At 40x26mm this is a versatile cabochon size for both pendant and ring settings.
