Natural Prehnite 28.6ct Oval Cabochon

An elongated oval with a wide, flat profile and a pale mint-green body well covered with fine black needle inclusions crossing in multiple directions. The most distinctive feature of this stone is a visible pale cream mineral patch in the lower center, where a contrasting mineral has been enclosed within the prehnite mass. Fine needles give the surface a quietly textured character across the high-gloss dome.

The pale cream patch visible in this stone is a natural feature of prehnite material, where minerals such as feldspar or zeolites can be included within the prehnite during growth. Prehnite is always untreated. At 28.7x15mm the narrow, elongated oval suits horizontal pendant settings and elongated bezel designs.
