Natural Prehnite 34.6ct Teardrop Cabochon

A classic teardrop silhouette with a pale yellow-green body and an asymmetric inclusion pattern: black needle inclusions are more concentrated in the upper half of the stone, while the lower portion of the teardrop remains relatively open and clear. This gentle gradient between the more included upper zone and the quieter lower area gives the stone a subtle visual dynamic across its length.

The uneven distribution of epidote needles in this stone reflects natural variation within a single African prehnite crystal mass, where inclusion concentrations can shift considerably across a short distance. Prehnite is always untreated. At 31x20mm this teardrop is a comfortable pendant and earring size.
