Natural Prehnite 35ct Oval Cabochon

A notably elongated, flat-profiled oval with a soft, cool mint-green body. The inclusion content is light for this material: scattered fine black needle inclusions appear sparsely across the surface, and a warm yellowish patch on one side deepens the base color slightly. The high-gloss polish runs cleanly across the long dome, giving this piece a serene, uncluttered appearance.

Africa is the world's primary commercial source of prehnite, and this pale, relatively inclusion-light example allows the mineral's characteristic cool green to come through without distraction. Prehnite is always untreated. At 33x14.7mm the elongated silhouette suits horizontal bar-pendant settings and long bezel designs.
