Purple labradorite heart 19g 30.9mm

Rather than broad zones, this 30.9mm heart palmstone shows its labradorescence in narrower, more banded stripes of deep purple-magenta running diagonally across the grey matrix, giving the display a striped, directional character. The coverage is sparser than some of the other pieces in the series, with the dark matrix remaining visible between the iridescent bands, but the purple-magenta colour within those bands is strong and saturated. Fine dark needle inclusions are more densely distributed across the surface compared to the other examples in this group.

The banded stripe pattern visible here is a natural result of the lamellar feldspar structure being oriented at an angle that exposes individual twinning planes rather than a broad schiller sheet. No treatment is applied. A compact piece at 19g, suited to collection alongside other pieces in the series to illustrate the natural variation in labradorite display character.
