Purple labradorite heart 24g 33mm

Of the heart palmstones in this series, this 33mm example has the most uniform and deeply saturated purple labradorescence, covering almost the entire face with an even violet-purple glow that extends from the top of the heart to the lower lobes. There are no competing warm tones or contrasting colour zones, just a single cohesive sheet of cool violet light. Two distinct dark mineral inclusions are visible at the upper surface, with scattered finer inclusions throughout the grey matrix. The form is a clean, symmetrical heart with good polish.

Even, full-coverage labradorescence like this is a desirable trait in display-quality labradorite, as consistent schiller gives the piece reliable visual impact from most angles. The colour is entirely natural, arising from lamellar feldspar twinning layers, and no treatment has been applied.
