Five round-cut blue-green sapphires spanning a lighter, more transparent tonal range than many in this series. The leftmost stone has the deepest teal-blue with good color saturation; the remaining four lean into softer gray-green and icy teal territory, with good transparency and a delicate, understated quality. The SI clarity is clearly visible through the stones, giving each piece a natural, unfiltered look.
All five are from Madagascar and heat-treated. This lighter, more translucent batch has a subtle, refined character well-suited to delicate jewelry - think fine pavé, minimalist scatter rings, or accent settings where you want color without weight. Natural corundum with the durability and prestige of sapphire in a gentle teal palette.
Natural blue-green sapphire, September birthstone - sold loose as a set of 5.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
