A five-piece lot of compact 2.6mm round sapphires displaying a shared teal and blue-green color family with natural variation between individual stones. The set spans lighter, more transparent aqua-blue tones through deeper olive-tinged teals and cool blue-greens, offering a layered, organic color story within a single purchase. Each stone is densely saturated for its size, and the group reads cohesively as a teal accent set. SI clarity throughout, with natural inclusions consistent with teal sapphires at this small scale.
Heated to develop the natural teal saturation, the standard and most widely accepted treatment for blue-green corundum. This lot of five 2.6mm rounds is an ideal supply for jewelry designers seeking a distinctive teal accent for pavé rings, multi-stone cluster pieces, earring accents, and any setting where the earthy, aquatic mood of blue-green sapphire is the design focal point. The small round format fits most standard 2.6mm settings and prong, bezel, or channel configurations.
Natural blue-green sapphire, September birthstone - sold as a lot of 5 pieces.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
