Five 2.6mm round sapphires in a cool teal and blue-green color range, each stone expressing a slightly different balance of blue and green across a shared earthy, aquatic palette. The lot includes lighter aqua-toned pieces alongside deeper teal and steel-blue rounds, offering a spectrum of tones that work harmoniously together. Their compact 2.6mm size gives each stone a dense, concentrated color presence. SI clarity with natural inclusions consistent with teal sapphires at this scale.
Heated to develop and stabilize the natural teal blue-green color, as is standard in the sapphire trade. The small round format and varied cool tones of this lot make it well suited for pavé accent rows, floral cluster settings, multi-stone bands, and any design that calls for a nuanced, nature-inspired color story. Teal sapphires rank 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, making them an excellent choice for everyday jewelry pieces that require lasting durability alongside their distinctive color.
Natural blue-green sapphire, September birthstone - sold as a lot of 5 pieces.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
