Five 2.6mm round sapphires in a beautiful spread of blue-green tones, ranging from cool aqua-blue on the lighter end to rich teal-green and deep steel-blue, with each stone expressing its own balance of the two colors. The palette is earthy and aquatic, deeply saturated within each individual stone, and the group presents with a cohesive teal-family character despite the tonal variation across pieces. SI clarity with fine natural inclusions that are fully typical for teal sapphires of this compact size.
Heated to enhance the natural blue-green color, the standard treatment for teal corundum. Teal sapphires remain among the most sought-after of the parti-color sapphire family, with their earthy yet vibrant hue increasingly favored in contemporary fine jewelry. Five matched 2.6mm rounds of this quality offer excellent flexibility for pavé rings, cluster earrings, scattered band accents, and any design where a cool, nature-inspired tonal variety enriches the overall piece. Sapphire's 9 Mohs hardness ensures long-lasting wearability.
Natural blue-green sapphire, September birthstone - sold as a lot of 5 pieces.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
