Five round blue sapphires in a natural mix of cool blue tones, ranging from open steel-blue with visible transparency to richer, more saturated blues with a slightly green-blue character. The stones are closely sized and show the characteristic variation of a natural melee lot, where slight differences in hue and saturation give the group a lively, genuine quality. SI clarity with natural inclusions that are honest to the nature of heated blue sapphires in this size and price range.
Heated to develop and stabilize the natural blue color, as is standard across the sapphire trade. This lot of five 2.8-3mm round blues is a practical set for a jeweler or designer needing a small set of natural sapphire accents. The round format fits a wide range of standard ring, pendant, and earring settings, including pavé channel rows, bezel clusters, and multi-stone scatter pieces where cool, natural blue tones are central to the design.
Natural blue sapphire, September birthstone - sold as a lot of 5 pieces.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
