Five petite marquise-cut white sapphires in the 4x2mm range, showing a clean icy-white body color with good transparency across all five pieces. The slender marquise outline is particularly elegant at this small scale, giving each stone a delicate, elongated presence. The stones are well-matched in color and cut proportions, making this a neat, consistent set for applications where uniformity matters.
Madagascar origin, heat-treated to achieve the crisp white color, which is standard for white sapphire. These small marquise cuts are ideal for fine accent rows, channel settings in delicate bands, earring accent pairs, or as part of a mixed-cut white sapphire design. Five pieces in a reliable format at a very accessible price point.
Natural white sapphire, September birthstone - sold loose as a set of 5.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
