A matched set of five white sapphires in a slender marquise cut, presenting a clean, icy near-colorless appearance with bright faceted brilliance throughout. The stones are closely matched in tone and size, laid evenly side by side in the photo to show their uniformity. SI clarity reads clean to the naked eye at this small scale, with only fine inclusions detectable under magnification that do not impact the bright, crisp look of the set.
Heated to ensure color stability and clarity in these white corundum stones. The marquise silhouette is a timeless and elegant shape, well suited for channel-set rings, pavé bands, art deco-inspired designs, and floral cluster earrings where multiple stones work together to create a larger visual impact. White sapphire is a popular and durable diamond alternative, ranking 9 on the Mohs scale, and these five matched pieces suit a custom jewelry project.
Natural white sapphire, September birthstone - sold as a lot of 5 pieces.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
