Natural Ammonite 12.9g 34mm

A broadly rounded polished ammonite with a predominantly very dark brown to near-black shell and a large umbilical region filled with grey matrix. Suture lines are subdued, visible mainly on the upper outer whorl; the specimen's most striking detail is a scatter of vivid red-orange iridescent flashes across the lower body.
