A teardrop-shaped polished ammonite, slightly taller than wide with a pointed upper taper. Amber-brown ammonitic suture lines on dark chocolate-brown ground, with a notable patch of grey-green mineral matrix on the mid-flank that adds secondary mineralogical interest alongside the suture patterning. Small pale nacre ring at the umbilicus.
