This 0.35ct oval sapphire displays a vivid, well-saturated royal blue with notably good transparency for a heated stone at this price point. Bright flashes of open blue play across the facets while the deeper center adds visual depth and richness. SI clarity, with a small visible inclusion near the edge that is honest to the natural character of this grade and does not detract from the stone's lively appearance.
Heated to enhance its strong blue saturation, as is standard practice for the vast majority of fine sapphires on the market. The well-proportioned 4.8x4mm oval shape makes this a practical and versatile stone for a wide range of settings, from a small solitaire ring or pendant to a bezel-set accent piece. The vivid blue holds its appeal across different lighting conditions, making it a reliable choice for everyday jewelry.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
This sapphire is heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
