The Convoy S2 UV flashlight is a compact, pocket-sized tool for gemstone inspection, mineral hunting, and other UV work where you need strong, clean ultraviolet light in a small package.
It runs a 365nm UV LED behind a genuine ZWB2 glass filter, which blocks most of the visible violet glow so the fluorescence of your stones stands out clearly. At 121mm long and 74g, it is easy to carry in a pocket or field bag, and it works on a single 18650 battery for around 3 hours of continuous use.

About this light
This light emits longwave ultraviolet (UVA). It is the gentlest UV band and the one used for most gemstone and mineral testing. A strong light still carries real energy, and much of it is invisible, so the beam is stronger than it looks.
Safe use
Point the light only at the specimen. Brief use over your hands is not a concern, but avoid holding skin in a strong beam for minutes at a time.
Goggles
UV-blocking glasses are recommended, especially with high-power filtered lights and long sessions. Clear polycarbonate safety glasses and glasses marked UV400 block this range.
Storage
This is not a toy: keep it away from children.
- BatteriesUse good quality 18650 cells of the type stated in the description and insert them the right way round. Carry spare cells in a case so their ends cannot touch keys or coins. Stop using a cell with a torn wrap or a dent. Do not leave the light running unattended: the head gets warm with long use.
