Flashes of pink, red, green, blue, and orange appear across the face in delicate patches, giving the stone a soft, dreamy quality. The play-of-color is well-distributed rather than concentrated, creating a gentle all-over shimmer that catches light from multiple angles.
From the Welo region of Ethiopia, natural and untreated. As a hydrophane opal it is slightly porous by nature. The generous 11x8mm oval size suits bezel and prong-set pendant settings and larger oval ring designs where the wide face is showcased.
