This petite octagon-cut green sapphire presents a warm blue-teal green with perceptible yellow-green undertones that give it a more earthy, layered character than purely teal examples. The step-cut faceting delivers the clean geometric clarity of the octagon family, and the stone's good transparency allows its warm green color to glow through the facets with a soft, pleasing luster. A refined small stone with genuine chromatic depth.
Green sapphires in this warm teal-yellow-green register occupy an interesting middle ground between vivid teal blues and purely earthy olive tones — a versatile, naturalistic palette that pairs warmly with both gold and silver settings. Heat treatment has enriched its warm green character in a permanent and fully disclosed process. At 0.35ct in a 4.2x3mm octagon, it is a charming accent stone for earrings, pendants, or accent positions where a warm natural green adds botanical elegance.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
This sapphire is heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
