This 0.39ct heated green sapphire presents a soft, layered color palette with a warm, slightly yellowish-green center transitioning to cooler teal-green at the edges, giving the stone a gentle, multidimensional character in its compact round form. The overall effect is a quiet, translucent green with natural depth that catches light in an understated and quietly appealing way, revealing its subtle complexity the longer you look.
From Madagascar, this green sapphire has been heat treated to refine its characteristic green color. The natural color zoning from warm yellow-green to cool teal is a charming feature of many Madagascar green sapphires, adding individuality to each stone. A lovely choice for minimalist rings, stud earrings, and accent settings where understated natural color variation is appreciated.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
This sapphire is heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
