This substantial 2.38ct untreated green sapphire presents a large 7.5mm round face with a pale silvery-grey body color and dramatic natural inclusions that give the stone a raw, mineral beauty. Milky veils, silky needles, and rusty-orange mineral patches are visible throughout the interior, each a natural geological marker of the stone's completely unenhanced, untreated state. A striking specimen that wears its natural character openly and unapologetically.
From Africa, this sapphire is entirely untreated and unheated, making every inclusion and natural color variation a genuine expression of how the stone formed in the earth. The 2.38ct weight in a 7.5mm round face provides substantial presence for artisan and bespoke jewelry, particularly for designers and collectors who value natural gemstone character over commercial perfection. A compelling collector's piece and a bold centerpiece for nature-inspired fine jewelry.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
This sapphire is untreated. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
