Natural Malachite Pair 49.7ct 26x17mm Oval Cabochons

Fibrous velvet malachite in a large, high-domed oval. Fine radiating silky crystal fibres spread outward from a dark core across both stones, creating a starburst radiation pattern with vivid electric-green fibrous veining against a very dark, almost black-green base. The high dome gives each stone substantial physical volume and the silky fibrous crystal structure produces a clearly visible chatoyant shimmer as the light angle shifts. The radiating centre sits slightly lower on the left stone and more centrally on the right - the tonal match is identical, though the exact pattern placement differs slightly between the two. Both are imposing and bold face-up.

The combination of large oval format, full high dome, and the chatoyant sheen of the fibrous crystal surface makes these a visually bold pair suited for statement pendant or earring settings. At 26x17mm each and just under 50ct combined, there is real weight and presence here. Oxidised silver or blackened metal settings would play to the dark, electric character of these stones.
