Five compact 2.6mm round sapphires in a range of teal and blue-green tones, each stone displaying a cool, aquatic character with subtle variation between blue-leaning and green-leaning hues. The set is cohesive in scale and overall palette while offering the tonal depth that makes blue-green sapphire lots so appealing for creative jewelry projects. Deeply saturated for their small size, with SI clarity and natural inclusions that lend these stones an honest, organic quality.
Heated to optimize the natural blue-green color, consistent with standard sapphire trade practice. Teal sapphires have become a popular choice for contemporary designers seeking a distinctive and on-trend alternative to classic blue, bringing an earthy, nature-inspired mood to finished pieces. This lot of five 2.6mm rounds is well suited for pavé ring shanks, scattered accent clusters, channel-set bands, and any multi-stone setting where a cool, varied green-blue palette enhances the overall design.
Natural blue-green sapphire, September birthstone - sold as a lot of 5 pieces.

About sapphire
Sapphire is corundum in every color except red. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is second only to diamond, and it is also very tough with no cleavage, so it rarely chips or splits when knocked. Together that makes it one of the most durable gemstones for everyday wear, rings included.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need. Brush behind the stone too, where dust and skin oils collect, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are usually fine for a faceted sapphire, but skip them if the stone has fissures that reach the surface.
Wear and storage
Sapphire is very hard, so it can scratch softer gemstones stored with it. Only diamond can scratch it, so keep it apart from diamonds and store it on its own in a gem jar or a soft pouch.
For your jeweler
These stones are heated, and the color from heating is stable. Sapphire handles normal setting, re-tipping and polishing well. If the stone has fissures that reach the surface, keep it out of direct torch flame and acid pickle.
