A grey oval chrysoberyl cat's eye cabochon from Sri Lanka, 0.98ct at 6x5.8mm. The stone shows a pale grey body colour with a clear chatoyant band that slides across the dome when the stone is moved under directional light. At just under 1 carat, this is a well-proportioned rounded oval with a good dome height.
