A square step-cut Nigerian emerald with a very pale, icy blue-green colour and an intriguing internal landscape. The clean geometric silhouette offers a clear view into the stone, where dark inclusions and fractures create a natural mosaic typical of West African emeralds at this grade. The very light tone gives the stone an almost aqua quality in certain lighting - cool, refreshing and distinctly its own.

Square-cut emeralds sit particularly well in East-West orientation rings or as part of geometric jewellery designs. The cool, pale tone of this Nigerian stone makes it an interesting alternative to darker emeralds, with a breezy, contemporary feel. Standard oil treatment. Sold as a single loose stone.
