Orange apatite 8.7g from Pakistan fluorescent

A beautifully formed natural orange apatite crystal from Pakistan, this specimen shows a warm honey-amber to caramel-orange color on its natural hexagonal prism body. The crystal form is largely intact, showing a flat natural termination at the top and natural prism faces that give it a clean, recognizable crystallographic shape. Some iron oxide surface staining adds warm brown patches that complement the amber tone of the underlying material. The second and third photos reveal the piece under 310nm ultraviolet light, where the entire crystal lights up a vivid, glowing yellow, transforming from a warm orange specimen into a spectacular neon display piece.

Untreated and from Pakistan, this naturally formed orange apatite crystal is opaque with a warm earthen tone in daylight and a dramatic UV response that makes it a standout for any fluorescent mineral collection. Orange apatite in good crystal form with strong UV activity is relatively uncommon, and this piece is an excellent example of the variety.
