The cortex shows the characteristic warm honey-amber orange of Baltic resin, with naturally darker reddish-brown weathering patches that give the piece an earthy, organic appeal. The amber shows through translucently where the crust is thinner at the edges, hinting at the glowing golden interior beneath - a lovely glimpse into what lies inside.

Baltic amber is fossilised resin from ancient conifer forests that lined the Baltic Sea coast, estimated to be 44-50 million years old. Sourced from Poland, this piece is completely untreated and retains its full natural form. Suitable for wire wrapping, resin casting, carving, or simply as a display specimen and collector piece.
