A polished piece of Baltic amber at 17.8x14.4x6.3mm with a strikingly well-preserved fly inclusion. Visible through the warm golden-orange amber, the insect is positioned sideways with wings, body, and legs all distinguishable in fine detail. The amber surrounding the fly shows natural milky wisps and warm golden tones that give the piece visual depth beyond the inclusion itself - a genuinely captivating little window into deep prehistory.
This fly specimen is one of the more clearly visible insect inclusions in this collection, with the wing venation and body segments readable at reasonable magnification. Baltic amber from Poland, estimated 44-50 million years old. Untreated. Ideal for natural history enthusiasts, amber collectors, or anyone with an interest in prehistoric entomology. Sold as a single polished piece.
