Natural Prehnite 46.4ct Oval Cabochon

A standard oval with a relatively open, pale yellow-green body and a sparse scattering of longer black needle inclusions, making this one of the cleaner-looking pieces in this African prehnite collection. A small warm brownish patch is visible toward one side, a natural color variation within the stone. The dome is smoothly polished and the overall impression is calm and uncluttered.

The sparse inclusion content of this piece allows the prehnite's pale green body to read more openly than in heavier-included examples. Prehnite is always untreated. At 31.2x20.6mm this standard oval works well for statement pendants and larger bezel earring settings.
