Natural Fluorescent Cerussite With Baryte Cluster 188g

A natural fluorescent cerussite with baryte cluster from Morocco, 188g, measuring 58x43x37mm. The largest specimen in this series, with large blocky amber-honey coloured cerussite crystal groups filling the specimen with substantial mass. The warm amber tone and chunky crystal form give this piece a strong, bold appearance as visible in the product photos. Under UV light, the cerussite fluoresces vividly.

At 188g this is a substantial display piece - one of the heavier cerussite specimens in this collection. Cerussite is a lead carbonate mineral from the oxidation zones of lead ore deposits, with Morocco being one of the classic worldwide localities. Suited for a prominent display position in a mineral collection. UV fluorescent. Handle with care - cerussite is dense but has perfect cleavage.
