A matched pair of natural smokey quartz from Brazil, 14.08ct total in an octagon checkerboard cut, each stone measuring 13.9x9.7mm. The two stones show a warm medium cognac-brown, transparent body - the large flat checkerboard facets across the octagon top reflect light cleanly through the brown quartz, and the eight-sided format gives each stone an elegant, structured look compared to softer cushion or oval shapes.
